I thought I would go through the journey of my homemade bags. If you are into looking into reducing waste, you might consider making your own bags. It got me thinking about this after seeing a You Tube video last year. This particular video is about using scrap fabric and sewn her presents. It got me thinking about making gift bags.
Here is my first blog post after I made a gift bag.
I did use this gift bag last year as part of a gift exchange at our church. I like this pattern for a gift bag.
This one is the same pattern, but I used self striping yarn.
In this post I knit a drawstring bag that is going to my aunt.
I created the next 2 bags bag as a crocheted version of the knitted bag. The knitted drawstring is the linen stitch, so I did a bag using a crochet version of the linen stitch. This gift bag is going to my younger daughter.
I did another knitted gift bag trying to make this bag look more like a gift bag then a drawstring bag.
