Socks

 Hello,

When I started my Treasures Made From Yarn blog back in 2008, It was mainly a sock blog. I was obsessed with making socks. I made crochet and knitted socks. For the longest time I wore my hand made socks.

Then my desire for making socks just faded away, along with wearing them. My socks were cute, but not always comfortable.

I will still occasionally make socks, I actually am making a pair of my shelled socks. The thing with socks is that you have to make two. The trick is to start the sock immediately after you finish the first one. This might be a reason why I hardly make mittens. I have made plenty of hats and scarves, but I rarely make mittens.

In the moving process, I have found a bunch of socks shoved into a suitcase.

    My Mom is avid knitter so I have plenty of knit socks to choose from. Rest she sells to people she knows and people they know etc. One could have more useless hobby I guess. Kudos to You, I do not have patience to do that. And it´s very time consuming hobby.

    I enjoy knitting very much but I don't think i will ever start knitting socks.
