Christmas Trees

I had come across a paper Christmas tree from a blog post and I knew I had to try it. I am consistently getting catalogs in the mail and I thought it is a good way to use them.

I found that as you get to the end of the magazine, it got a little more challenging as the folded parts kept getting in the way. I like the end result and overall it was an easy craft to do. Step by step instructions with photos can be found here.

This next tree is a crocheted tree using a pattern that I created years ago. I made it larger that I had written it to use up self striping yarn I had left over show off all the colors.

By the time Christmas is over, I will have plenty of these trees around.

  1. Lovely trees! If you keep finding different Christmas tree crafts, you could have a whole collection! I might share the paper version with the kids I watch. I know they would love to make Christmas trees. :-)
