For the New Year, I thought I would do more journaling. I bought a new one recently, even though I already have a couple that are not even used up yet.
This is the one I just bought, cute!
Here are the journal I have, though the book on the bottom is technically a sketch book.
I like to draw, but I don't think that I am that good, but there are no set rules in journaling.
I decided to write out a fudge recipe in my journal.
If you were to look at my journals, the either contain recipes or knitting and crochet patterns. That will still be the case over all, but I am looking to journal more of my feelings and expressions of gratitude.
I also feel that it could help me with writing my blogs. I have 4.
Just Winging It p.s. the Cocoa Fudge recipe in there.
So now my new journaling journey begins with a quote:
Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future. It is simply taking God at His word and taking the next step -- Joni Eareckson Tada
Best of luck on using your new journal. I love that you journal things like recipes and patterns too. I've mostly only used journals as sort of diaries; keeping track of thoughts, feelings, and what's been going on in my life.
ReplyDeleteI have several journals and almost everyday intend to get in their a write or draw or paint but I have been so busy. Have fun . Love my journals.
